Everything's started in 1994...........

CRISTIANO ROVERSI and DAVID CREMONI met in far 1994 to record some Roversi's progRock ideas. The two musicians immediately understood to have a particular vision of that genre: Large, Symphonic and Romantic Guitar solos melodies combined with a constant harmonic research!

With the help of a common music good-taste and the currently in line up voice SIMONE BALDINI TOSI they recorded a DemoTape called "Moonsadness" which quickly attracted the attention of some undergroundprogLabels like Mellow Records, Musea and Vinyl Magic.

Choosing the firstone, "Moonsadness" was released as first debut album while the band was in studio to record the real first professionally recorded album "Brainstorm Of Emptyness".

Stabilized the LineUp with MASSIMILIANO SORRENTINI (Drums) , LUCA PALLESCHI (Vocals) and MIRKO TAGLIASACCHI (Bass), the band recorded other two albums: "The Gates of Omega" (2CD) and "Round Midnight" changing the motherlabel to the new Galileo Records.

With this line up, the band had the amazing chance to accompany Mr.JOHN WETTON for several Italian and European Gigs.

With the new entries MAURIZIO DI TOLLO (Drums) and MARCO TAFELLI (Guitars) and the consequent momentary stop by DAVID CREMONI, the album "Songs From The Lighthouse", MOONGARDEN land in America selling a lot of copies under SPV distribution and ProgRock records not to mention the brilliant ED UNITSKY ArtWork (this site background) united with a new band Logo designed by MARK WILKINSON.

In 2009 the band changed again in something really modern and fresher. Putting beside all of the classic prog rock influences and with the return of founder member DAVID CREMONI, MOONGARDEN choosing to look forward creating a new conception of the genre....a sort of CrossoverRockProg releasing the controversial album "A Vulgar Display Of prog" wich include a song "Demetrio & Magdalen" particularly appreciated by the Genesis founder member Mr.Anthony Phillips.

After "Night of the prog" Loreley festival 2010 band Apparition, The machine stops for some years writing new music and again changin the line up with two new great musicians entry: MATTIA SCOLFARO (Drums) and DIMITRI SARDINI (Guitars).

With this new Line Up,  the band signed for Ma.Ra.Cash Records releasing  the 7th Studio album called "Voyeur".

Due to some probs and misunderstandings with the label, The band (again) needed to find a new "home". AMS Records will make the commitment to sign up the band releasing the currently last studio album called "Align Myself To The Universe".......
